A nice story Live To Love at Drukpa Paris

For around 3 years , we lost sight of Annie Jeanson who was a regular practicionner at Drukpa-paris ,after she moved to a retired people house.Nobody had her new phone number and we were regularly thinking at her , knowing that she had a physical handicap .
A short time ago, she wrote to us to ask us the program of the practices . It was the occasion to get back in contact and to go to see her . We had a chat for 2 hours , she was very happy to get some news about the others . She told me also that after her morning practices , she was getting bored because she was not able to walk for a long time, and that her housework and shopping was done by an employee .

Live to Love – Drukpa Penang July 2008

This month we joined Drukpa Butterworth on their tree planting activity in Seng Keow Primary School in Butterworth. This is a new experience for us from Drukpa Penang, and we must admit that it’s pretty physically demanding but the wonderful part was that everyone did it with full positive spirits!

We really appreciate Drukpa Butterworth for inviting us to participate in this meaningful activity. We were impressed by their professional manner in carrying out the planting, with every care taken to make sure the trees were positioned straight and the distance between the trees and the level of soil were consistent throughout. Last but not least, they finished off by spray-painting on every pot of trees planted with the word “DRUKPA – LIVE TO LOVE”! We feel that this is an excellent idea of promoting the lineage as well as the activity of live to love, and the school would be perfect ground to instill such positive ideology.

Recent Activities in Mexico - Let’s Make the Difference

On behalf of Live To Love®, four of us animal lovers visited a most uncommon place: an animals’ refuge called ANDES (-Abandoned Animals -Animales Desamparados www.andes.org.mx). Here, mistreated, abandoned and injured dogs receive both surgery and medication as well as all the love and nurturing needed to save their lives.

During our visit to the refuge, we proved that the animals live well within this environment and that they are cared for and fed in order to have a dignified existence. Unfortunately these are animals
whose characteristics make it very difficult for them to easily adapt to a family, because they’re very scared to become related with human beings again.

Some of these animals lack a limb or an eye, one has lupus, some had their vocal cords removed and so on. That is why the ANDES refuge needs permanent financial funding in order to continue feeding and
medicating this sentient beings in disgrace who have suffered throughout their lives due to human
ignorance and abuse.

Live To Love® invites you to keep this project alive through your donations, starting from MX$50 monthly.

Volunteered Rehabilitation Services in Guangzhou Hospital

Earthquakes are catastrophic. However, it can only take away lives but not our hearts and spirit. We can see that the impact of the ruthless nature can be devastating, but we can also see the brightest part of human nature. True love makes people great, there is nothing in the world more important than love. We hope love can be spread around the world and more importantly, it can heal the wounds of those suffering.

Many Sichuan earthquakes victims were transferred to various hospitals in Guangzhou for immediate care.

Live to Love Geneva July 2008

Hello,

For the July Live to Love day we decided to concentrate on the environment part of the action by going in the forest and pick up the garbage witch is left there. Our first objective was of course to clean the nature, but in a second way we also wanted to give people the possibility of enjoying a summer walk in a nice and clean area. We armed ourselves with garbage bags and garden gloves and went out on the battle field of the river border!! And we were very successful as we filled plenty bags!! There were so many aluminium cans that we decided to pack them separately and to put them for recycling in a container in the city. Of course we also took the time of having a nice lunch together, and of course we picked up our trash before leaving!! It was a successful day and we also had some emotions as we met a few big spiders and other strange insects and nearly slipped into the river by saving a dog that couldn’t come out anymore!!

Live to Love in Tierheim July 2008

In Hattersheim (a small town between Wiesbaden and Frankfurt) the dwellers of an animal shelter - more precisely 20 dogs, 20 cats, 1 rat, 1 chinchilla, a few rodents and 7 rabbits - met on the third Sunday in July with Pema Tsültrim, Jigme Yang Drön, Jigme Lhadze from Köln and the volunteers Monika and Steffie, who work there on a regular basis and helped us tirelessly with their advice and expertise.

Family Life to Love in action

Again we were helping in the animal home nearby. Already experienced and familiar with this place and work, the 2 female Jigmes cleaned a cat cage whereas the male one repaired dog huts. Later on Tara had a beautiful afternoon with the “animal home children club” and was so excited about it that she and her cousine spontaniously walked around the neighborhood to collect money for the animals, isn’t that nice? Life to love is starting to blossom, slowly.
