Our Live to Love activity was held on Sunday June 21st. We went for the fifth time to Keramour, a house for elderly dependant close to Drukpa Plouray, where we go every two month.
For the first time, we went out with the residents as the weather was very beautiful that afternoon. Some did not want to go out so a few of us stayed in to play and talk with them. It seemed to us that they were quite tired and spaced out because of all the drugs.

A vegetarian dog???
The animalhome where we were working every third sunday got a very lovely dog from a place in France where he was supposed to be killed, noone knows why.
Since I took him out for several walks, I felt very much connected with him, so that I nearly decided to take him. Also tara is very fond of him, after she has seen him yesterday.
I am very much interested since then, how to feed dogs in a vegetarian way and I have read many reports, also scientific ones with very good experiences.
Now I try to get more information, there are by the way many heath food companies in Germany which produce vegetrarian dog food already. Thanks to the idea of Hongkong, may be we can extend that vegetarian campaign to dogs and cats. ( We have one animalhome which is feeding their animal only veg.!)

Li Hwa Primary School had finally completed the renovation after being deferred for a year due to the long process of approval for Occupational Certificate (OC) by local Authority and Drukpa Dharmashri Butterworth was re-invited by the SJK © Li Hwa Primary School Headmistress for second phase tree planting. The School Asst. Headmistress , The School Board Committee, The Parent and Teacher Association’s Chairman ,Mr. Ang & committee as well as Drukpa Dharmashri Members were present today. All in all, 32 people had participated in this activities.

Our Live to Love activity was held on Sunday May 24th. We postponed it of one week, as we had the visit of Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo at Drukpa Plouray on the third Sunday of May.
We had proposed our help to a society for animals called SPA (society for the prevention of cruelty to animals) and for the first time, we went to walk dogs for them. Those societies, very well known in France, welcome abandoned animals, those which cannot be kept by their owner, and also try to get animals which are very badly treated by their owner ; they then try to find them a new family. We had contacted that society which kindly accepted our help

In Nice (France), the sangha found an area where there is a fish farm. We bought 7 trouts as we were not equiped for more. As the fishes were brought home, they were kept in the bathtub. We then put them into buckets and carried them to the river. As we were carrying them, we kept changing the water in the buckets so that the fishes have enough oxygen to breathe. When we finally reached the spot, we recited the mantras while releasing all the fishes. They were so happy to be in their natural environment and were just playing in the water stream. We felt how fulfilling it was for us to contribute in life release with the Live to Love spirit. We also felt that we could do more and more fish release in the coming weeks along with other Live to Love activities. We then practised Chenrezi and finished the journey sharing our food and drinks.nice

On the recent weekend, we released over 1200 lives and dedicated the merit of the release to His Holiness’s good health and long life, as well as to world peace and happiness of all sentient beings.
It was the usual place, off the east coast of Singapore, with the same boatman and to the same fish “supermarket”. It is really a kind of supermarket from which the seafood restaurants of Singapore purchase their live fishes. What was somewhat different were the participants, both the life liberators and of course the fishes and shellfish that were released.

When we asked for donations to save horses from the slaughtering house, many generous friends felt a lot of concern and we gathered enough money to be able to save a second horse.
The kind family who had helped us having Sisko adopted decided to adopt Toscan for their youngest daughter. They already have saved three horses and they also have a thirty-years old poney, two turtles, nine cats and two dogs.
