Dear Sangha,
for the third sunday in january, I organized an afternoon in an old-peoples-home for them, who have no more relatives or don`t get any visit.
The leader was very happy about this idea and organized coffee and cake and I organized two musicians who played old folk-songs which the people know very well from their younger days and joined in singing and dancing. I think they were quite happy and a circle of giving and taking took place because flowers were given to me as a thank for organising that and I gave some money and presents to the musicians who actually didn`t like to take anything. We will repeat this regularly, which makes me very happy.

Old people are so often neglected in our times. May your example take root in other hearts, so that we may always help those forgotten, those in need and those in pain; I hope we really learn how to love permanently, as His Holiness has always done. Thank you Jigme Päldrön.
