I thought since it was just me, Jigme Wangdrol/andrea, here in Oregon I wouldn’t write to you, but for the sake of His Holliness’ wishes may I include my story.
Here we have an organization called Hospice, perhaps it is around the world too? It is staffed mostly by volunteers and it is to help people who are dying with any thing that comes along. I took the training in January and had my first “patient” who was already in the death process. I was a bit surprised that the nurses and family were happy that I had come to sit with their mother/grandmother. I said the Om Mani mantra to myself and talked in a soothing, kind way to the agitated adult son and the sorrowful granddaughter. The son just needed someone to give him persmission to go away and come back as he needed to, taking breaks as it was pretty intense seeing his mother in the death gasps. he felt guilty and I was able to help him release that feeling.
I stayed for 5 hours and the “patient” passed away shortly after I left.
It was an honor to be part of that process with that family and in the name of our beloved Master, and to help the woman pass peacefully
and the family to accept and let her go.
So now I am waiting for the next assignment to practice Live to Love through Hospice.
it is so good to receive some news of Andrea , Dharma sister from so far Oregon , and to see that the spirit of the Dragon ligneage is active and shining there !!!!
